October 6, 2020
CHARLESTON, WV -- Following the weekend endorsements from theCharleston Gazette-Mail, Huntington Herald-Dispatch, and the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce, Democratic nominee for West Virginia Governor Ben Salango announced today his third statewide ad buy. The spot entitled “Hands Dirty,” shows Ben’s commitment to hard work and his determination to overcome challenges.
Salango is the only candidate endorsed by business, labor, law enforcement, and West Virginia’s first responders.
“No one will outwork Ben Salango to get results for West Virginia families,”said Kelsi Browning, Communications Director for Salango for Governor. “After four years of a part-time governor, West Virginians are ready for a leader who will work tirelessly on their behalf. As governor, Ben will fight hard for all of the Mountain State, and move West Virginia forward,” concluded Browning.
Ben is an avid hunter, outdoorsman, and climber. The ad was filmed at New River Gorge. “Hands Dirty” will also run on digital platforms.
Please see below for a transcript of the ad:
I’m used to overcoming challenges.
As a local leader, I’ve grown the economy, helped small businesses, and developed new industries, despite being told it couldn’t be done.
I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty to help build West Virginia up.
Jim Justice made billions off the backs of our miners, yet fought to avoid paying them what they deserve.
And that’s a disgrace.
As governor, I’ll make sure West Virginians get the leg up to help them succeed.
