CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Today, Kanawha County Commissioner Ben Salango announced that his campaign for governor picked up the endorsement of the Parkersburg-Marietta Building and Construction Trades Council. They represent local construction unions and working families in the Parkersburg area.
"Ben Salango is our choice for governor because he knows how to get results for working people,” said Buddy Malone, the business manager for the Parkersburg-Marietta Building and Construction Trades Council. “Ben has proven that he knows how to get things done on the Kanawha County Commission. We are proud to join the working families across the state of West Virginia in supporting Ben’s campaign."
Malone added, “Ben is committed to building up West Virginia’s infrastructure and creating good-paying jobs. Working families have a lot at stake in 2020 and we are looking forward to supporting Ben Salango in every way possible."
"I will be a governor who fights for the working families of West Virginia every single day, “ said Ben Salango. “It’s time that the people of West Virginia had a governor who will work just as hard as they do to create new job opportunities. This endorsement means a lot to our campaign because it shows that we are gaining momentum across the state and building a coalition that will win in 2020."
