CHARLESTON, W.Va. – This week, Monongalia County Commissioner Tom Bloom endorsed Kanawha County Commissioner Ben Salango for governor in the 2020 election.

"Ben has been a Democrat for his entire life and is an outstanding county commissioner for the people of Kanawha County. He shares my commitment to fixing the roads in Monongalia County and ensuring that the mess in our state capitol is finally cleaned up. I am asking everyone in Monongalia County to turn out and vote for Ben Salango in 2020 because West Virginia needs a governor who will roll up his sleeves and get things done."

Salango has also been endorsed by former Governor Gaston Caperton, retired Major General Allen E. Tackett, the Upper Ohio Valley Building Trades, the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 132, Teamsters Local 175, and the WV and Appalachian Laborers’ District Council.
